CRY FOR YOU by Shaniel Watson * * BLOG TOUR * *

Cry For You

by Shaniel Watson

Publication Date: OUT NOW!!!

Genres: Adult, Contemporary, New Adult, Romance

AVAILABLE NOW!

SYNOPSIS:

You know how the story goes. Don’t you?

Boy meets girl. Eyes lock, they fall in love, live happily ever after.

Not this story.

Lacey baby, was what he called me. He said I was too young for him but who cares, we were both young. He stopped resisting and we fell in love.

I thought we were going to be forever. We were. Until the unthinkable happened savagely ripping through us, ripping us apart, and forever turned in to never.

He was gone. I was left to pick up the shredded pieces. Punished for the life inside me I couldn’t give up. The very thing I didn’t know would bring me out of darkness years later, could be the very thing that brings us together again for a second chance.

If we can only survive the ripple effects of the pain of the past and what lies ahead…

PERSONAL REVIEW

3.5 / 5

The feeling of instantly being absorbed into the story, is almost a rare feeling. But that was the case and the beautiful start with Cry For you!! I knew I would fall hard for the characters right from the very first chapter. And I wasn't wrong!

I completely adored the story, which might I say might have made my heart tear apart more than I thought possible; and it has been a while since I teared up to a book.

The start of the book, where Lacey is talking to her little boy - ahh it's too adorable but I also go the chills. I had the feeling something other that laughter and smiles were coming... I mean, from the title you can maybe guess that tissues would be your best companion, but let me tell you. You have no idea what you might be in for!

From that chapter, when she began to tell her boy the story of meeting Landon, I fell in love...

From a personal perspective, I don't tend to be a huge fan of stories that move between the past and the present. There weren't many instances that I loved or could get through that sort of book. CRY FOR YOU though, is an exception. I really liked the switching of the past and present. It played with the readers emotions in JUST the right way.

Shaniel Watson knows how to draw out your heart without you even knowing it, and then throwing a few stabs while it's so vulnerable!Add to that teh writing style that made it so easy to feel part of the story, and then the characters!! I loved Lacey and Landon. I loved how they were with the kids and I absolutely could not get enough in how their relationship progressed!

The only thing though, I personally felt it was a little slow passed. There were instances where I felt it could have added a different element to certain chapters because though I was fully absorbed into the story 99% of the time, that last 1% I knew I was slightly detached as I wished it was faster in leading up to certain events. But, even despite that, I still LOVED the way the story ended. I couldn't get enough of the characters and how they got through it chapter by chapter.

ADDICTIVE.

HEARTBREAKING.

SWEET.

INTENSE.

ROMANTIC.

TOUCHING.

ADORABLE.

This was the first book I have read by Shaniel Watson and it definitely wont be the last!! I was s honored and glad to have witnessed sch a stunning second chance love story!

BADD TO THE BONE - ABOUT BOOK

BaddBone Amazon

Brock Badd is everything except bad. He’s sexy, sweet, strong, and every other good thing I never thought I wanted in a man. I always thought I needed the real bad boys, the ones that screw you senseless and pull your hair and aren’t there to talk about it in the morning.

I’ve always been a one-night stand kind of girl, and sometimes I wouldn’t even stick around for a full night. Brock was supposed to be a one-night stand—that’s how it started out, at least. Only, what was supposed to be a fun one-time-only hookup with a hot local guy ended up with me discovering Brock’s potency six different ways by breakfast.

That was all it took. One night with Brock, and I was hooked.

But hooked doesn’t mean ready for a relationship.

That’s what he wants. And deep down, I’m starting to fear that’s what I want too.

I’m just not sure I’m ready for it.

I mean, he’s the literal epitome of tall, dark, and handsome, plus he’s a pilot…with a six-pack and perfect hair and a smile to melt me from the inside out. How’s a girl supposed to resist that? I couldn’t. I can’t. I’ve tried, but I keep going back for more.

I’ve got it bad, real BADD.

SYNOPSIS

You don’t know me.
But that’s only because I don’t want you to.

I have the most lucrative job in the country as a hacker in the notorious underworld. I’ve built entire systems and destroyed evidence for career advancement while stealing and exploiting data for personal gain.
I’m the black hat hacker for the Chicago Syndicate and hold all the dirty secrets of the most powerful men in the U.S. in the palm of my hands, just a keystroke away from mass ruination.

However, no one knows my dirty secret, a decision from my past that’s just aching to blow up in my face and shatter my future. Especially when a certain wavy haired brunette begins to demand my attention with her odd ways and her carefree attitude.

She’s a woman who makes me go against everything I’ve ever believed.
A woman whom I’m forbidden from having my usual one-night stand with, even if she was available.
A woman whom I have to keep from getting herself killed, whether she likes it or not.

You don’t know me, but neither does she…yet.

A standalone novel from the Chicago Syndicate world.

From Soraya Naomi, International Bestselling Author of For Fallon and For Luca.
Novel Grounds Semi Annual Literary Awards 2014 winner of Best Breakout Novel For Fallon (Chicago Syndicate, #1).

EXCERPT

When I enter Club 7, the first thing that gets my attention is a stunning woman in a bright green blouse and tight skinny jeans that accentuate a lush, round ass. While she seductively combs her reddish-brown copper curls over one shoulder as she flirts heavily with an Italian bartender, I recognize that it’s Mary.
Although I only know her as Adriano’s little sister, I’m drawn to her tonight and stand behind her stool, planting both palms on the bar counter and caging her in, enjoying how petite she is. She’s short, but all woman. And the handful of times I’ve seen her since I initiated into her brother’s Syndicate, I’ve noticed that her smooth skin looks like it’s photoshopped.
Bending down, I whisper into her ear, “Mary, stop flirting with him before Adriano kills him.”
“Some room, please,” she chides, lifting a brow conceitedly, and my gaze strays to the beauty mark right above the corner of her plump lips.
Disregarding her statement the same way she disregarded mine, I push my chest against her back and hear her sharp intake of breath, noting that there’s something different about her today. There’s a certain sadness marring her upturned hazel eyes – that are fringed with long, dark lashes – that’s contradictory to her usual spirited expression.
Then, all of a sudden, she jumps off the stool. “Let’s dance.”
Confused by her behavior, I follow her to the dance floor, curious to see what this vixen’s endgame is.
Just as Mary turns around, she glares at me when another girl ogles me.
I pull up my shoulders. “What—”
But Mary catches me off guard by winding her arms around my neck and pressing her breasts against my chest. When she looks up at me, her smile is a little crooked and bold, as if there’s a hidden passion inside the innocent girl she portrays, waiting to be touched, waiting to be fucked. This is the first time she’s put her hands on me, and my dick hardens in response.
My arms snake around her middle, and when she peeks over my shoulder, I smoothly rotate us in a semi-circle to find a blond guy scowling at me.
He starts to move toward us, but I cock my head, mouthing, “Fuck. Off.” And I glare right back at him.
Wait a minute. Isn’t that Keano? The man Mary’s dating? So she’s using me…
Smirking, I pull her flush against me as she spins us around again, most likely to watch him.
However, I distract her when I dip my head, my lips against the shell of her ear. “Trying to make Keano jealous, Mary?”

About Author Soraya Naomi

I read many genres but favor intense, seductive, and provocative novels where the male character loves fiercely, without remorse or boundaries. I also adore forbidden love tales and have an odd fascination with kidnapping romances. No, I don't secretly want to be kidnapped, though!

I have a passionate obsession with the written word and indulge in chocolate pastries much too often.

My debut novel For Fallon (Chicago Syndicate, #1) was released on July 26, 2014. I’m honored that For Fallon won “Best Breakout Novel 2014” in the Novel Grounds Semi Annual Literary Awards.

BLACKSMITH by Jenika Snow **COVER**

**OUT NOW**

Steel isn’t the only thing that’s hard.

Maddie

Deacon was older than me, but I wanted him regardless. He had this raw edge to him, this primal aura surrounding him that made me feel wholly feminine. He was the epitome of a man…a real man. Even his profession was masculine: a blacksmith. I had no doubt he knew how to work his hands over a woman, how to use them to make her feel the soft and hard sides of him.

What I wanted was for him to be my first…my only.

Deacon

She thought I didn’t see her watching me, that I didn’t know she wanted me.

I knew, and I wanted her with a fierceness that rivalled anything else.

What Maddie didn’t know was I’d already claimed her. There was no other woman for me but her. I was a possessive bastard, territorial when it came to her. The time had finally come to make her mine. I’d show her how primal I really was, how rough I liked it, how much I wanted to make her scream my name. I’d show her how a man took care of his woman in all the ways that counted.

She’d be mine. Only mine.

Warning: You like your heroes with a touch of caveman? Look no further because Deacon has it going on. He’s all man, and then some. Hold on tight because this story packs a punch, being unbelievable in the best of ways and having instal-everything.
