Sins, Lies, & Spies by Lisa Cardiff **BLOG TOUR**

Title: Sins, Lies & Spies
Series: Black Brother Series
Author: Lisa Cardiff
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Published: February 9, 2016
Knox Black is no stranger to secrets…
As the head of a private military company, specializing in intelligence gathering, he’s more than familiar with political corruption and secrets worth killing for.
He has one objective on his current mission…
Knox must uncover the mastermind orchestrating the blackmail scheme swaying votes in Congress. It was supposed to be easy. After all, nothing fazes him, until he faces off with Trinity Jones, a member of a rival company.
Knox is determined to flip Trinity’s loyalties and use her to his advantage, but there’s one problem—he can’t keep her out of his head, or his heart.
As the tangled web of secrets behind the blackmail scheme unravel, Trinity is unwittingly thrust into the center of it. With her life on the line, Knox will to have to decide what is more important…
His mission?
Or the woman who stole his heart?
“Jones,” Knox taunted, drawing out my last name. “Are you going to take this or are you wrestling with the ethics of stealing my work?”
Without dropping my gun, I grabbed it with my free hand, but he didn’t release it. Locked in a silent battle, I heard Representative Lang’s scratchy voice outside the office door. My head whipped to the side. Dammit! I hadn’t fully closed the door.
What is wrong with me tonight? I’m not thinking clearly.
Knox closed the space between us, his face mere inches from mine and one side of his mouth hooked upward. A jolt of electricity arced between us. My blood felt like lava in my veins. He angled his head toward the cracked door. “An amateur mistake, don’t you think?”
“Fuck you,” I whispered, but I could hardly hear my words over the frantic swoosh of blood through my ears. My carefully crafted plans were going to blow up in my face. If I lowered my gun, Knox could take advantage of the moment and walk out of here with the memory stick. If I kept my gun aimed at Knox, I’d end up spending the night in jail, and I’d have to call Miles for bail money. I’d almost rather rot in prison than tell him I messed up. Sure, he was my boss, but that didn’t mean I wanted to interact with him any more than absolutely necessary. Our relationship was dicey these days.
“I see your wheels spinning, but there’s only one way we’re going to get out of this now.”
My dark eyes his clashed with his in a silent battle. “What do you have in mind?”
“We’re going to put on a good show,” he said, his warm breath tickling my face and sending shivers down my spine.
Electricity zigzagged through the air like a thunderstorm gathering strength on the edge of the horizon. My fingers involuntary twitched with the urge to sweep through his disheveled blond hair. He looked downright dreamy as his deep sapphire eyes zeroed in on my mouth. Before my mind registered his intent, he was kissing me.
After spending years practicing law and running a real estate development company with her husband, Lisa decided to pursue her dream of becoming a writer and she must confess that inventing characters is so much more fun than writing contracts and legal briefs. A native of Colorado, she lives with her husband and three children in Denver.

Blog Tour >>SETH<< by Jo Raven

Author: Jo Raven

Title : SETH (Damage Control 3)

Genre: Romance

Life is a bitch. Keeps screwing me over, and I take blow after blow, sucking it up, giving her the finger.
Don’t get me wrong: I love women. Especially one woman – Madeline. She’s gorgeous, she’s sexy, she’s goddamn perfect.
Plus – minor detail – she has a boyfriend already.
Not that she’d want anything to do with the likes of me. Apprentice tattoo artist, former homeless person, covered in ink, without a penny to my name.
And sort of cursed. I mean, I’d be lucky to run into a girl, any girl, on my way in and out of hospitals with the way life has been knocking me about lately.
But I’m not lucky. Never was. Doesn’t look like that’s gonna change any day soon, either.
Until the day the girl of my dreams literally runs into me. With her car.
Life hates me, and if this isn’t a clue, then I don’t know what is.

Standalone novel. No cliffhanger.

*Warning: this book contains graphic language, sex, and violence. Mature readers only. Not intended for young readers.*

SETH is book 3 in the series Damage Control - a series set in the same world as Inked Brotherhood. The boys of Damage Control were taken in by Zane Madden and Rafe Vestri and offered apprenticeship and work in the tattoo shop Damage Control.

Next in the Damage Control series: SHANE(Damage Control 4).

She rolled her eyes. “Mr. Kade, please just leave me alone after this dance. You bore me to no end.”

“Liar,” he said softly with an icy bite. “I don’t bore you, and my dear Ivy, you do the exact opposite to me.” He drew her even closer to him. “Don’t tempt me.” An amused warning was directed at her.

“How am I tempting you?” she threw back with an absolute bothered countenance.

He gave her a dark, jaded smile and didn’t answer her since he didn’t comprehend himself how she was tempting him. William was having a lot of trouble melting this ice princess, and why he’d actually asked her to dance in the first place evaded him right now. She was exasperating; why did she have an aversion to him? It surprised him that he possessed such an infatuation for this perfect stranger.

As he took in her delicate features, he remembered why he’d asked her to dance. She was oblivious to how she shimmered with an innate sensuality. There was something in her sky-blue eyes that betrayed a hidden desire, or fear. He couldn’t quite make out which one, and usually, he could read people easily because Charles had taught William to notice and how to interpret people’s mannerisms. And he still didn’t know her age but guessed she must be eighteen or nineteen.

Finally, when some of the other guests started to watch their closeness, William allowed her to take a small step back, and he ended their dance in uncomfortable silence. He escorted Ivy away from the crowded dance floor as people kept brushing past him and decided he’d had enough of teasing her.

“My lady.” He bowed slightly and winked, detecting a small twitch in her pretty pink lips.

She inclined her chin, and he turned, feeling her gaze burning into his back as he walked away, toward Charles on the other side of the room.

William was unsure how he felt about their odd encounters, and he couldn’t refrain from looking back one more time. Ivy had a full grin on her face, causing William to frown at this weird woman. He shook his head and joined Charles; however, before he could even open his mouth, there was an uproar among a few of the couples who were dancing nearby.

William and Charles scrutinized the commotion.

The musicians kept playing, but a stream of couples moved to the side, and one man’s voice came booming over the music, “Who took it? No one leaves this ballroom! I knew I felt something a few minutes ago!” Said gentleman was checking all his pockets.

As William watched the man, a strange sensation came over him, and he searched for Ivy, who was now holding a tall glass in her hand, staring at him. There was something in the way she was smirking at him that made him check his own inside jacket pocket, and he was completely surprised to find a lightweight wallet in there – one that was not his.

He muttered under his breath, “Are you kidding me?!”

William glared back at Ivy while gritting his teeth; he couldn’t believe she’d just set him up.

“William.” Charles regarded him with narrowed eyes. “What’s wrong?”

“She fucking set me up!”

The crease in Charles’s forehead deepened as he stepped closer to William so no one overheard their words. “What are you talking about?”

“Ivy,” he snarled and touched his breast pocket, “stole the wallet and planted it in my pocket.”

Author Bio

I was born in South America in 1984 and raised in Europe where I presently reside with my fiancé.

I read many genres but favor intense, dark, seductive, and provocative novels where the male character loves fiercely, without remorse or boundaries. I also adore forbidden love tales and have an odd fascination with kidnapping romances. No, I don't secretly want to be kidnapped, though!

I have a passionate obsession with the written word and indulge in chocolate pastries much too often.

My debut novel For Fallon (Chicago Syndicate, #1) was released on July 26, 2014. I’m honored that For Fallon won “Best Breakout Novel 2014” in the Novel Grounds Semi Annual Literary Awards.

SLIDE by T. Gephart * *BLOG TOUR* *

Title: Slide
Series: Black Addiction #1
Author: T. Gephart
Genre: Rock Star Romance
 Release Date: November 16, 2015

Blurb

Touring as an opening act for a huge rock band and landing a record contract means you’ve hit the big time, right?

Sadly, neither of those things gave Rusty Crawford, lead guitarist of the band Black Addiction, worldwide fame and fortune. Which was a shame because he had the lifestyle down to a fine art—without the clichéd stint in rehab.

Even being back in the Bronx, paying his dues didn’t rattle the charismatic axe man, ladies loved him and men wanted to be him. Fate would just have to catch up. Seemed like fate had more than just a platinum album planned for his future.

Alison Williams had the perfect life. Or at least she did until her world came crashing down around her, in the most epic way.

With her future no longer a certainty she finds herself out of her comfort zone and into unchartered territory—a place where Rusty Crawford likes to spend most of his time.

Will the charming and ridiculously hot rock god help her find her feet, or send her further down the rabbit hole? One thing was for sure; both of them were in for the ride of their lives.

“Hello, ladies.” His voice purred, sending vibrations through my body.

It was him. My beautiful mystery man. The one who I’d seen plenty but never spoken to. He was standing in front of me, smiling.

In hindsight, I shouldn’t have been so surprised. There weren’t many bars in our little neighborhood where you didn’t need a Hep C shot before you entered. This particular establishment promised an impressive beer menu without the risk of a communicable disease, so it would stand to reason he would know about it too.

“Hi.” Was all I was able to manage, convinced he was probably talking to someone else. Perhaps he meant the Amazonian redhead who was sitting to my left, openly staring—that would make a hell of a lot of more sense. They could probably shoot joint commercials for teeth whitener and make adorable, if not freakishly tall, children together.

“I couldn’t help but notice your friend stole your drink. Ordinarily I’d overlook such thievery, but I’d hate for there to be a brawl in my favorite bar. So in the interest of keeping the peace, I’d like to replace it for you.” His voice smooth, as was his delivery. I had to remember to breathe.

“She wasn’t going to drink it, but you can totally buy her another drink,” Renee answered before I’d gotten the chance. Her smile widened as she turned to face me and mouthed the words “he’s hot.” She needn’t have bothered; his hotness was not something that needed to be confirmed.

“That’s okay, I’m good.” Thankfully words came out of my mouth even if they sounded in no way intelligent.

“Well, glad to hear you’re good. Nice to meet you, my name is Rusty.” He smiled as he moved in closer, his hand signaling the bartender. “What were you drinking?”

In what I can only explain as temporary insanity—probably from the shock of having the beautiful man talking to me—I blurted out, “I have a boyfriend.”

I officially wanted to die.

While I did have a boyfriend, and hopefully in a few hours I would be moving into his upscale apartment, there was no reason to announce it so dramatically. Almost as if to prove that I hadn’t secretly fantasized about him while in the shower every day this week—which I had. Sweat prickled at my brow.

“Is that some code for you’re not thirsty?” Rusty’s lips curved in amusement. While the words weren’t sexy, the humor in his voice was a definite turn on, a hot button straight to my libido as he stood there grinning at me.

“No, I-I just mean I can’t accept . . .” What was the word again? “A drink from you.” Yes, that’s what I wanted to say. “Or . . . or anyone else. N-not just you.” My mouth tried to regain some composure. It really wasn’t doing a great job.

“Well, would you look at the time? I have a thing, wouldn’t want to be late.” Renee tapped her naked wrist—her watch missing in action, as was her tact. “Call me, Ali.” She gave me a hug and whispered, “If you don’t screw this guy, you’re dead to me.” And just like that, she evaporated from the room.

Awesome.

“Your friend always bail on you like that, Ali?” Rusty’s voice curled seductively around my name as he smiled, moving to the barstool Renee had vacated.

“It’s Alison.” Ali was just too personal, like him kissing me on the mouth. I totally would not have been okay with that. Mostly.

Author Bio

T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.

T's approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience.

With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.

While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have traveled extensively throughout the US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley, the wonder dog.

An avid reader, T became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify with, someone strong, independent and confident and who didn't lack femininity. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past "colorful" experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who don't have to sacrifice their femininity. She enjoyed the process so much that when it was over she couldn't let it go.

T loves to travel, laugh and surround herself with colorful characters. This inevitably spills into her writing and makes for an interesting journey - she is well and truly enjoying the ride!

Based on her life experiences, T has plenty of material for her books and has a wealth of ideas to keep you all enthralled.
