Genre: Adult/Dark Romance
Release Date: September 24, 2015
Enter an unsettling world of volatile relationships, hot bikers, and even hotter sex that will have you on the edge of your seat and force you to keep a white-knuckled grip on your e-reader.
Blurb
Killer. Criminal.
Sociopath.
All of these words have been used to describe me,
and for the longest time I believed that that’s all I was.
I’m the man you call in to clean up your mess,
assuming your mess is a guy who needs a bullet to the head. I’m the man the MC
calls when they want their dirty work done.
I’m the man who doesn’t feel.
Until now.
Until her.
Now my mess is a woman who won’t save herself. I’ll
fight like hell to save her, but at what price to the club? And at what cost to
me?
Warning: TANK
contains graphic violence, profanity, drug use, and explicit sexual situations
that may be a trigger and cause some readers emotional discomfort. Intended for
an 18+ audience only. Not intended for pussies.
Wow.
Holy mother of all things insane.
I can't.
*Looks at emotions, heart and tears all over the floor*
...
To think I've seen all of how dark Carmen Jenner's work can get? Ha. NOT. EVEN. FUCKING. CLOSE.
I was ready to get my heart wrenched in two delving into TANK because if you know how KICK goes, you'll know that sanity wont be in the vocabulary. Saying this book is dark doesn't really even reach the bottom of the stairs that lead up to everything else. I mean, seriously. Bloody fucking hell, Carmen Jenner, are you trying to kill all of the sanity we never quiet got back after reading Sugartown and Kick?
I knew that my feelings would be torn in small pieces.
I knew any tears left from reading her previous work will once again show face and leave a tainted trail..
And I definitely knew that reading TANK would shred me to pieces.
But what I didn't know. What I couldn't quiet realise would happen, even though I knew this book wasn't for the faint hearted? I didn't bloody know that my soul would be forever stolen and instead replaced with stone cold empty void filled with unexplained emotions... Trust me, there is a way that that last sentence makes sense. It does. Just, read between the lines.
A story that will grip you from the very first page. Characters that will play in your mind long after you regretfully turned to the very last page. Emotions that will bring chills to ever even think how mere words can shutter you in every way possible.. And simply, a book that captured every ounce of my messed up mind, heart and soul.
If Carmen Jenner couldn't do any better, I would say I LIVE by her writing and will inhale any books that are published. I honestly don't know how else to explain my love for TANK no matter how many *warnings* you see about this book not being for the faint hearted? It's a book made up of true emotions, a realistic element that will break apart even the coldest of hearts, and most importantly, it's a story you HAVE to read to know what it's like have a little dark in your life.. You'll know what I'm talking about when you get your hands on this masterpiece. But a little warning by me? Make sure you know where your emotions and mindsets stand before they get ripped away..
Thank you so bloody much Carmen Jenner for providing an ARC of TANK!! Saying I dropped everything just to start this story would be like faintly remembering a coffee cup being dropped on the kitchen floor.. No harm done but lets just say that not bothering to make another cup of coffee, my holy grail, and instead, walking upstairs and locking myself with all my soon to be vanished emotions? That was definitely a first for me.
I've read hundreds upon hundreds of the darkest books you could think of. If you can think of the one story that made you sleepless for nights on end? Read it. A story that made you lose your will to smile for the rest of the day? Read it! TANK? By far, the darkest form of an emotional bloody roller-coaster that has no regrets, is unforgiving and comes at you at full. fucking. force..
Get ready. Tank will show you what twisted and dark really feels like..

Twisted.
DARKER than hell.
Steamy.
Hot.
Unforgiving.
Emotional.
Heart-wrenching.
Soulful.
Too. Damn. Addictive.
5+ does not do justice to how much I connected with this story. Ivy and Tank managed to show how even through one another's darkest moments, those moments were you can't really see any form of light/hope, THEY will be there.. Somehow, through all their messed up lives and minds, they found each other, 2 souls that honestly portray a true meaning of picking up broken pieces.A story that will grip you from the very first page. Characters that will play in your mind long after you regretfully turned to the very last page. Emotions that will bring chills to ever even think how mere words can shutter you in every way possible.. And simply, a book that captured every ounce of my messed up mind, heart and soul.

“So, the usual?” Louis asks.
“Yeah.” Tank intervenes by knocking Louis’ arm away when he tries to hand me a menu.
I glare at the obnoxious arse. “I don’t get to decide what I want?”
“Nope.” He smirks, and it’s quite possibly the millionth one I’ve seen today. “I know exactly what you want. You just need to trust me.”
“Okay then,” Louis says. “Coffee?”
“Yes,” I practically shout. “The strongest you have.”
Tank shakes his head. “Get her a latté.”
I swear if looks could kill, Tank would be burnt to a char right about now. No one takes my coffee from me and lives to tell about it.
“Your system doesn’t need any more stimulation.”
“It’s caffeine, Tank, not cocaine,” I argue. “I’m pretty sure I’ll be okay.”
He shrugs, and Louis glances nervously between us again. He looks as though he wants to flee. Tank has that effect on a lot of people. Then again, it could be the fact that I just admitted to being a junkie and at any second he’s expecting me to break out my stash and start snorting lines off of his fancy table. Louis says, “Okay, so latté it is then.”
“No, I want—”
“I’m sorry, sweetheart, but your man is too scary to say no to.” He backs away from the table, shouting, “But don’t you worry, it’ll be the best latté you’ve ever tasted. You just sit tight.”
“He’s not my fucking man,” I shout back, drawing the attention of every patron in the room, which is really only two other people, not including Louis and Kerri. I look around sheepishly and then wrap my arms around myself, turning my attention back to Tank. “Stop fucking smirking, you arsehole, or I’m walking.”
“Try it and see how far you get, Warrior Princess.”
“I’m betting I’d at least get halfway down the street before you caught up to me.”
“You wanna test that theory?” He challenges with a grin, though his gaze warms me head to toe with its intensity. “My money says you’ll make it to the door before I drag you back to the table, put you over my fuckin’ knee and spank your arse ’til it’s red raw.”
I let out a deep, shaking breath and lick my lips. Jesus Christ do I want that. I want it so fucking bad. My nipples turn rock hard and Tank’s gaze drops to my black singlet. I’m suddenly hot, wet, and hyper aware of his lingering gaze. This man is going to be the death of me.
